Tulane NROTC Band

The Tulane NROTC Band has a long history of playing at many events for the school and the community. It also performs during the Mardi Gras season and participates in several of the local parades. These parades begin Uptown, travel down St. Charles Avenue, and finish in the downtown area. Along the parade route the band plays several tunes for the holiday crowds and has the opportunity to perform in front of the mayor of New Orleans.

All are invited to be part of this club; no prior musical experience is required. Personal ownership of a musical instrument is not required, as the battalion maintains a collection of several instruments which may be loaned out. If you chose to be a member of the band you must be able to commit yourself to attending all necessary rehearsals and of course be able to involve yourself in the parades.
